Dumbleton Hall is one of the best Wedding venues in the Cotswolds for many reasons. A grand and elegant feel from the moment you arrive. With it's beautiful architecture, rich colours and huge windows flooding the space with natural light, it effortlessly creates a fine art wedding photography aesthetic.
The morning started with Georgia in her Bridal Suite, surrounded by her bridal party. MUA Lucy got to work getting everyone ready, while everyone else kept the vibe going. It was a super relaxed morning, everyone having a great time and after a short trip to see Thomas to capture some Groom prep photos, we headed back to Georgia for some of my favourite bridal portraits ever.
Just a short walk to the end of the venues driveway, is their (almost) onsite romantic church where the beautiful couple said their wedding vows. After the wedding ceremony, while the guests made their way back to the venue, we took the opportunity to take a slow scenic stroll to get some gorgeous couple portraits, while incorporating the wedding venue in to the backdrop.
The celebrations continued into formal family & friends photos followed by a candid based welcome drinks hour, before whisking the couple off for a second photoshoot around the grounds of the wedding venue.
Georgia & Thomas then made their entrance into their wedding breakfast surrounded by cheers and applause.
The wedding cake and wedding style was rooted in an autumn theme, with an emphasis on mushrooms! Georgia has a strong artistic hobby and personally crafted individual mushroom centrepieces for each table - something that truly made their wedding unique.
As the wedding breakfast concluded, it was time for a set of emotion, loving and genuinely heartfelt speeches, leaving a tear in almost everyones eyes.
As evening guests arrived, and the sun began to get closer to that heavily sought after golden hour, I wandered the ground to find the right spot for a perfect sunset shoot. With a quick dash up a nearby hill to get the days final golden rays, produced some of both mine and the couples best shots of the day.
From start to finish this was an amazing wedding day. A lovely couple and perfect weather on one of the most scenic wedding venues in the cotswolds.
